Working with Animals
All research involving animals is reviewed an approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) to make sure it meets the highest regulatory and ethical standards.
Approval & Review
IACUC serves as a resource for investigators and research staff on the use of regulated species in research and training. They can help with grant/funding proposals for related research and with meeting the necessary personnel requirements for your team.
Conducting Your Research
Tufts has two core facilities that support animal research. Comparative Medicine Services provides animal services to the Boston Health Sciences Campus and Tufts Medical Center and DEPH Laboratory Animal Services serves the Grafton Campus.
