Rodent Breeding Service

The Rodent Breeding Service is available to aid investigators in the creation, propagation, and maintenance of rodent breeding colonies.

Services may include, but are not limited to: consultation, mating, animal identification, weaning, collection of samples for DNA analysis, and record keeping. Qualified veterinary technicians provide all breeding services with training in laboratory animal technology under the close supervision of the DLAM veterinarians. This service is overseen by Comparative Medicine Services.
