Radiation Safety
At Tufts University, the Radiation Safety Program provides guidance on all sources of ionizing radiation and non-ionizing radiation. Ionizing radiation sources include radioactive materials and x-ray machines while non-ionizing radiation includes lasers and ultraviolet radiation sources.
