The Strategic Research Development (SRD) team partners with investigators, staff, and leadership across the institution to enhance federally-funded research and scholarship capacity through strategic, innovative approaches. Our mission aligns with institutional priorities with a focus on developing large high-caliber interdisciplinary proposals and advancing early-career faculty research funding capabilities. We also oversee the OVPR seed funding programs, coordinate internal competitions for limited funding opportunities, and manage designated faculty honorifics.
