HS IRB Meeting Dates & Deadlines

In order to ensure your study is given appropriate review in a timely manner by the HS IRB, study submissions must be submitted by the deadlines indicated below for each meeting.

In order to ensure your study is given appropriate review in a timely manner, study submissions must be submitted by the deadlines indicated below for each meeting. Please note that this does not apply to continuing review submissions, which have their own specific deadlines. Please refer to the Continuing Review page on the IRB website for more information. Please also note that there are no deadlines for submissions requiring an exemption determination or expedited review, which are accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis.

Minimal risk studies do not need to go to a meeting and are received on a rolling basis.

Once your study is received in the IRB office, it will be pre-reviewed. Pre-review comments may need to be resolved before your study can proceed to an IRB meeting. In addition, your study may require review by the Scientific Review Committee (SRC) before proceeding to the IRB for review. In order to determine whether or not your study requires SRC review, please refer to the SRC Procedures page on the IRB website.  Please contact the IRB office with any questions about submitting your study for a specific meeting.
