OUR MISSION

The mission of the Collaboratory for Emerging Infectious Diseases and Response (CEIDR) is to develop integrative and transdisciplinary research efforts to study emerging pathogens and design equitable responses to improve health and social outcomes and mitigate the negative impacts of infectious diseases.

What is Transdisciplinary Research?

Transdisciplinary research integrates knowledge across academic disciplines and with non-academic stakeholders to address complex societal challenges (e.g., emerging infectious diseases).
