Sandra’s primary area of responsibility is the management of intellectual property matters across the University, including the School of Engineering, the Schools of Medicine and Dental Medicine, and the Gerald J. and Dorothy R. Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy. Sandra joined Tufts University from Lando & Anastasi, LLP, where she counseled clients in various aspects of intellectual property. She specialized in patent prosecution and strategically developing and managing clients’ patent portfolios. Sandra is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire School of Law (formerly Franklin Pierce Law Center) and obtained her Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemical Engineering from Tufts University.
