Martin Son is senior director of the Office for Technology Transfer and Industry Collaboration (TTIC).  He is a veteran technology transfer professional who began his career at Harvard University and joined Tufts University in 2000.  At Tufts, Martin helped establish the university’s inaugural technology transfer program and played an integral role in materially shaping and advancing TTIC over the ensuing years. He is experienced in assessing technology commercialization potential, devising and executing marketing strategies and business development campaigns, negotiating and closing business deals, facilitating startup formation and growth, cultivating internal and external relationships and alliances, and mentoring and leading cross-functional teams.  Martin received his AB pursuing Physics and East Asian Studies at Harvard University.  He serves as board observer on a number of Tufts startup companies, including Sofregen Medical, ZwitterCo, Anodyne Nanotech, and Wanda Fish Technologies.
