Bob is a consultant in the TTIC, where he handles tech transfer for the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. This includes patent and licensing activities as well as sponsored research. Research going on at the Vet School ranges from clinical work on large animals to basic biomedical research with applications to human health. Bob started at Tufts in 2019. He has worked in academic technology transfer for over 25 years at the NIH and Harvard tech transfer offices. For the past ten years he has run South Shaker Associates, LLC, a tech transfer consulting firm. He also worked as a patent examiner for four years in the pharmaceutical and biotech areas and is a registered patent agent. He has a PhD in chemistry from NYU.
