Science and Technology Center Machine Shop

The Science and Technology Center Machine Shop is equipped with knowledgeable staff and precision tools needed to design and fabricate the necessary resources for students, faculty, and staff to perform their experiments and research.

The Science and Technology Center Machine Shop is capable of machining complex parts from plastics such as polycarbonate, Delrin, and Teflon, to metals such as stainless steel, aluminium, copper, brass, and steel. Welding can be done on everything from stainless steel to mild steel. Fully equipped with computer-controlled milling machines, CNC and precision lathes, a programmable indexing head, and expert staff, the Machine Shop can help with designing projects as well as fabricating the work on-site.
