The Tufts Institute of the Environment’s Water: Systems, Science, and Society (WSSS) Graduate Students are pleased to announce Tufts Water Day 2021! The main topic of this virtual event will be nutrient pollution. Our speakers will include Scott Horsley, a lecturer from the Tufts Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning Department, and Jeffrey Griffiths, Tufts Professor of Public Health and Community Medicine. Professor Horsley will be speaking about the mitigation of nutrient pollution and Professor Griffiths will discuss nutrient pollution’s effects on humans and animals. Erum Sattar will be our moderator for the event. WSSS looks forward to seeing you and celebrating World Water Day 2021!
