In April, OVPR’s Human Subjects Research Principal Investigator and Faculty Advisor Eligibility Policy was revised to update the eligibility criteria for Tufts University to include more researchers.  Individuals who still do not meet the eligibility criteria, however, can continue to request an exception to this policy if they wish to serve as a Principal Investigator (PI) and/or Faculty Advisor (FA).  To streamline the PI/FA exception request process, the Tufts SBER IRB Office has developed a PI/FA Exception Request Form to be completed by both the individual requesting the exception and the individual providing Departmental support of the request.  This form can be accessed by visiting the “General” tab of the eIRB Library or the ”Forms & Templates” page of the Tufts SBER IRB’s website.
