Dear Members of the Tufts University Research Community,
New COVID-19 Research Funding Opportunities
To facilitate COVID-19 research projects, the OVPR has formed a team to identify funding opportunities and other programs to support this work. These opportunities will be shared with the research community on an ongoing basis by way of our COVID-19 website.
All COVID-19 Research Projects Require Prior Approval
To ensure the needed resources are available and the appropriate safety measures are in place, all COVID-19 research projects conducted by Tufts researchers, regardless of project type and funding source, must be approved by the COVID-19 Research Oversight Committee. This approval must be secured prior to: submitting a sponsored funding proposal, including letters of intent and pre-proposals; submitting a protocol or registration to one of our internal regulatory committees (IACUC, IBC, IRB, IRLSC); and or initiating collaborative work with a group or individual external to Tufts. To submit your COVID-19 research project for review, complete this Qualtrics form. The COVID-19 Research Oversight Committee will be meeting on a weekly basis to review projects.
