Tufts BIRCWH Awards

Jr Faculty Research Career Development Forum

All three have upcoming deadlines. Please see below for more information and share with any junior faculty who may benefit from these opportunities.

The Tufts CTSI KL2 Program offers NIH-funded career development awards for junior faculty at any Tufts CTSI partner institution conducting research across the full translational science spectrum. Selected scholars receive salary support up to $120,000 per year plus fringe benefits for 75% effort and up to $45,000 for travel, tuition, and research-related expenses. LOIs are due September 30, 2021. Details can be found on the Tufts CTSI KL2 site

The Tufts BIRCWH Program offers NIH-funded K12 career development awards for junior faculty at Tufts Medical Center or Tufts University who are conducting research in women’s health or sex/gender differences. Selected scholars receive up to $100,000 per year in salary support plus fringe for 75% effort, and up to $45,000 for travel, tuition, and research-related expenses. LOIs are due September 30, 2021. Details can be found on the Tufts BIRCWH site

We also request applications for the Jr Faculty Research Career Development Forum, which is a monthly interactive, 90-minute session that supports the research careers of junior faculty at the K or career development level (typically those prior to R01). Sessions are organized and led by the participants, facilitated by senior faculty with expertise in career development and federal grant funding, and supported by qualitative and quantitative methods mentors. Admission is by application only, open to any Tufts CTSI affiliate, and applications are due August 13, 2021. The group currently meets virtually via Zoom. Details can be found on the Jr Faculty Forum site.
