Research is central to the mission of Tufts University and a top priority for the Office of the Provost. Over the past several years and with tremendous support from the provost, members of the Office of the Vice Provost have worked hard to assure that we can support the Tufts community in continued pursuit of ever greater accomplishments in research. We added a new Office of Proposal Development, reorganized some of our functions, increased the services that we provide, and worked to recruit and retain talented and professional staff in all our areas of responsibility. One of our initiatives has been to revise the web presence of the Office of the Vice Provost. As you scroll through our web area, you will find a few new sites, such as the New Investigator and Postdoctoral Scholars sites, as well as expanded and improved versions of our other sites. We are grateful to members of the Tufts community who worked with us on these updates, and we look forward to supporting the continued success of our research programs.
