The Tufts 2020 COVID-19 Research Symposium will create a space to acknowledge and celebrate the ongoing research on COVID-19 at all Tufts University schools and Tufts Medical Center, promote Tufts’ unique niche in the research landscape and its ability to address issues in research equity and health, and to foster communication and collaboration.

The two-day virtual program features keynote addresses from Dr. Soumya Swaminathan, Chief Scientist, World Health Organization and Dr. Eric Rubin, Editor-in-Chief, New England Journal of Medicine.  The program also includes lightning talks and panel discussions with: 

  • Over 20 Tufts faculty and researchers leading COVID-19 projects
  • Tufts international research and program partners 
  • Cutting-edge views on social, political and cultural impacts of the pandemic
  • Scientific reporters covering research and 'disinformation during the pandemic

All of the presentations will be open to the public.
