Business Operations
Business Operations coordinates and manages a matrix of operational services to augment the office’s support of research and scholarship.
Central Pre-Award provides mandatory review, approval and submission for sponsored funding.
Tufts Comparative Medicine Services (CMS) provides an array of in vivo services to support preclinical research and other areas of biomedical research. CMS supports the Boston Campus. The Laboratory
Local Research Administration (LRA) provides support within the schools and centers at Tufts.
Research Administration & Development (RAD) helps investigators to pursue their research and scholarship goals, providing expertise and support throughout the Award Lifecycle.
Research Development
Research Development supports grantsmanship, funding, and proposal development.
Strategic Initiatives fosters relationships to build the research enterprise, forging new and innovative approaches, collaborations, and partnerships of institutional importance to the University.
RAD Enterprise
This function leads and implements projects related to supporting and strengthening research administration and development enterprise of Tufts University.
Tech Transfer and Industry Collaboration (TTIC) is responsible for facilitating the transfer of Tufts technology for public use and benefit.
Related Research Support
Post-Award provides financial oversight of all sponsored award activities from set up to closeout, and is part of the Finance Division, office of the Controller.
