You’ve seen the cookie notices on websites that are popping up everywhere. But did you know those are a result of the new European General Data Protection Regulation – the GDPR? The GDPR applies to research, too. Often, in unexpected ways.  Learn how this new European privacy law affects the Tufts research community, and what you should do to comply. In this brief session, we will identify when the need to comply with this new European law is triggered, and who does what in the Tufts compliance workflow. We will also discuss strategies to minimize and manage GDPR risk when designing study protocols. Members of the Tufts expert task force will field your questions.

Investigators, research administrators, and other members of the research community at Tufts should attend.
