The NIA is pleased to launch the Improving Care for People with Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias Using Technology (iCare-AD/ADRD) Challenge. This Eureka prize competition seeks to spur the development of technology applications to improve dementia care coordination and/or care navigation. Up to $400,000 in cash prizes may be awarded to teams or individuals that participate in the challenge. Entries will be accepted from October 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019. This funding opportunity announcement (FOA) encourages Small Research Grant (R03) applications to facilitate the entry of investigators to the area of neuroimaging, including both new investigators and established investigators seeking to adopt neuroimaging methodologies in their research programs, to enable the conduct of small “proof of concept” studies.
