Gain insight on Tufts’ strengths in research and scholarship in all fields, including biomedical and STEM sciences, social science, arts (including creative activity and performance), and the humanities;
Understand the needs of each field — and more broadly Tufts — has to advance research and scholarship; and
Understand how Tufts’ research and scholarship can impact society globally.
As a part of this process, the OVPR will engage the research and scholarship community in two ways in the coming weeks: Faculty Open Forums and RSSP Survey.
The Open Forums will provide an overview of the strategic planning progress to date and give participants the opportunity share ideas regarding the RSSP’s overall goals. Please reserve the following dates:
Boston: September 22, 2:30PM – 4:30PM, Sackler 507 Medford: September 26, 2:00PM – 4:00PM, Dowling 745B
Grafton: September 29, 10:30AM – 12:30PM, Room 106, Jean Mayer Administration Building
Look for a RSSP Survey, it will go out to all faculty in the next few weeks. This survey should take no more than 15 minutes to complete. We are especially interested in learning your opinions on Tufts’ strengths in areas of global impact, as well as the resources that the research and scholarship community needs to continue to excel.
Participation in the forum and completion of the survey will assure that we receive broad feedback from across Tufts as we chart our path forward as an innovative, civically-engaged, student-centered research university.
