Disclosures

Faculty and staff have an obligation to fully and consistently disclose resources, relationships and commitments to Tufts University, external funders, publishers and the public. Disclosures are required at several different points throughout the research lifecycle including but not limited to: proposal applications, progress reports, Conflict of Interest (COI) reporting, and publications, amongst others. The information required for each disclosure can vary; however, disclosures should be complete, consistent, and made in the spirit of transparency and integrity.

Researchers should provide necessary updates to their research administrator at the school/center in order to enable successful management of sponsored proposals and awards.

The guidance in the following pages summarizes key steps in the federal funding agency submission process and is not a replacement for the complete and comprehensive agency guidance. To ensure compliance, faculty should review the specific federal funding agency guidance.
