Fall 2022 Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Courses
The Office of the Vice Provost for Research is pleased to announce our Fall 2022 course dates for Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) training:
Medford/Somerville Campus: four Tuesdays (November 15 from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm, November 29 and December 6 from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm, and December 13 from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm) – there will be a one-week break in the course over Thanksgiving week; location will be Room 2615 at 200 Boston Avenue.
Boston Campus: four Thursdays (November 17 from 9:30 am to noon, December 1 and 8 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, and December 15 from 9:30 am to noon) – there will be a one-week break in the course over Thanksgiving week; location will be the OVPR conference room on the 9th floor of 75 Kneeland Street.
Attendance to all four dates on either campus is required for certification of completion of training.
The RCR Course at Tufts University is designed to meet NIH and NSF requirements for grant-funded research. The purpose of the course is to help guide the Tufts University research community in understanding the multi-faceted aspects of research integrity and to reinforce the importance of conducting research in an honest, objective, and responsible way.
