The Office of Research Development (ORD) supports pre-award research development for the Tufts University research community. We offer Workshops, Individual Assistance, Copyediting and English as a Second Language (ESL) Assistance, Multi-Investigator Assistance, and Resources for New Faculty, Graduate Students, Finding Funding Opportunities, and Proposal Preparation Tools. The ORD monitors proposal development news, develops strategies for funding outreach and education, and strives to develop strong connections with research faculty and staff and to promote research collaboration between researchers and granting organizations.
The Office of Research Development offers a variety of services related to pre-award research and proposal development to the Tufts community. Services we offer include:
Identification of specific funding opportunities for any research area, and creation of custom funding searches that highlight the types of grants your research team might be looking for.
Assistance with either individual investigator or multi-investigator projects, including project management support, drafting of non-narrative proposal elements, editing of the proposal narrative, and copyediting.
