Blueprint Medicines is seeking a versatile, collaborative, enthusiastic researcher to join a team working on target discovery, validation and drug discovery. The candidate is expected to independently design, execute and analyze experiments, and present data in various forums. Experience in genomics or oncology is desirable. Responsibilities include design and execution of experiments to elucidate mechanistic biology of drug targets and mechanism of action of small molecule inhibitors. The researcher is also expected to be an active member of cross- functional project teams. Blueprint Medicines provides an exceptional research environment and this position offers the opportunity to learn small molecule drug discovery while maintaining an independent research program.


  • PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular / Cell Biology or a related field, and at least 3 years of relevant post-doctoral experience in either an academic or biopharmaceutical
  • Candidate must be skilled at carrying out a wide range of biochemical assays and state- of-the-art molecular biology Key laboratory skills include: (1) Experience in targeted knockdown experiments using CRISPR and in generating stable cell lines; (2) Biochemistry skills such as immune-precipitation, immunoblot and enzyme assays; and (3) Experience with conducting quantitative cellular experiments.


  • Candidates should be adept in implementing new technologies as they become available and have a record of success in problem solving and mechanistic biology as demonstrated by publications in peer-reviewed
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as excellent documentation and organizational skills are essential.
