6.23.14 Fulbright Postdoctoral Award Opportunities
The competition for academic year 2015-2016 launched in February. Postdoctoral/early career grants are open to U.S. scholars who have recently completed their doctoral degrees – typically within the five previous years.

4.12.13 New Postdoc Initiated Project Fund
The postdoc office has set aside $1,000 to provide funding for events and activities based on postdoc ideas and effort. If interested, submit a 1-page proposal to request for funds to support your activity.

11.20.12 L’Oréal USA Fellowships for Women in Science
Fellowships for female scientists who will have completed their PhD and started in a postdoctoral research position.

Merck Science Initiative awards scholarships and fellowships at three levels: UNCF/Merck Undergraduate Science Research Scholarship Awards, UNCF /Merck Graduate Science Research Dissertation Fellowships, UNCF /Merck Postdoctoral Science Research Fellowships.
9.14.12 Collaborative Research Travel Grants from Burroughs Wellcome Fund
This award supports Ph.D. candidates, postdoctoral fellows, and faculty researchers traveling to laboratories domestically or internationally to acquire new research techniques, facilitate or begin collaborations, or attend courses.

9.14.12 NRC Research Associateship Programs
The objectives of the National Research Council Research Associateship Programs are to provide postdoctoral and senior scientists and engineers of unusual promise and ability opportunities for research on problems, largely of their own choice that are compatible with the interests of the sponsoring laboratories and to contribute to the overall efforts of the laboratories.
